Why can’t all my possessions be neatly categorised by room, or type? There are far too many boxes in the stacks labelled things like “Cee: Misc” and “Random Bookshelf Crap” - yes, there’s at least one box of everything I had stashed in the bookshelves that weren’t books. Ye Olde Themed Dreams have kicked in this week and I’ve been busily moving in my sleep every night. Thankfully they haven’t been those stressy dreams where you’re moving and you crash the moving truck and then discover you’re not wearing any pants and then you miss your train. Whenever I’m stressed, I start missing trains in my dreams. And then once I finally catch a train, I leave some sort of expensive belonging on it.

Speaking of expensive belongings, I bought a new camera lens off Ebay - a well priced and brand new Nikkor 70-300mm. I popped it on the camera last night, and took a few experimental shots of the Prince’s eyeball while I was standing across the room. I can’t wait til I can get it outside during the daylight and experiment with a few bird shots. My dream lens would be the 18-200mm, which would be perfect for leaving on the camera all the time - however, its price would unfortunately necessitate the sale of my first born child. At the moment, I have my kit lens, which is 18-70mm, which is great for portraits and landscapes, but frustrates me with its lack of zoom. So whenever I want zoom, I’ll have to switch to the new lens. I just need a new camera bag to fit both lenses in, and I’ll be well on the way to imitating someone who actually knows something about photography.
